HIGH ACCURACY WIRE EROSION
Over the last two years we have heavily invested in the process of EDM wire erosion. We bought out a specialist wire erosion company and also purchased an additional machine. The main advantage of EDM wire erosion is the consistent accuracy, this is achieved by spooling a special brass alloy wire though a pair of guides and applying an electrical current.
A typical application for EDM wire erosion would be producing an internal key way in a through bore. Although complex profiles and splines can also be achieved efficiently and accurately. Our capacity for wire eroding is 600mm length x 370mm width x 330mm height.
